The region of Iris has an official Honors system to recognize, award, and show appreciation to those who have worked hard for our regional community. It is one of the best things about Iris!
Titles of Iris:
1. The siting President shall be addressed as his excellency. This title is earned by whomever holds the office at that time. This is highest title in all the lands of Iris. Former President’s shall have the title President Emeritus and addressed as your grace at ceremonial events.
2. Chancellor shall be address as your honor when sitting on the court and as your grace during special events. This title is given to the heir apparent and the next President of Iris.
3. Constable shall be addressed as my lord. Constable is an honorary governor and very trusted by the President.
4. Tiarna/Ard Tiarna means Lord and High Lord in Gaelic Nobility. They shall be addressed as a lord or high lord at ceremonial occasions and events.
5. Honorable (Name) shall be addressed as the Honorable Gentleman or Gentlelady at special events.
6. Councilor is automatically given when a citizen gains their citizenship and are granted the rights of becoming a councilor. They may use this title when it’s awarded to them.
Awards and Honors:
1. Eyehood is a sacred, ceremonial, and seen as the highest honor any person can receive. Eyehood is earned when someone has dedicated their loyalty to the region of Iris and served by watching over its people by bettering their lives, the region, and more.
2. Diplomatic Service Cross is for anyone who performs in a distinguished manner for the region of Iris abroad.
3. Presidential Medal of Honor is a ceremonial honor given to those who serve the region internally and live the values of the region each day!
