This Awards Bill is enacted to establish a comprehensive system for the recognition and honoring of exceptional individuals within the Iris realm. These awards encompass military valor, civilian contributions, and other prestigious honors, to be conferred by the Sovereign of Iris in consultation with their staff and the First Councilor.

1. The Sovereign of Iris is hereby authorized to bestow military honors and decorations upon members of the Iris military who demonstrate exceptional acts of bravery, gallantry, and meritorious service in defense of the realm.
2. Military awards shall include but are not limited to the Order of Valor, Distinguished Service Cross, and Meritorious Unit Commendation, with criteria and eligibility determined by the Sovereign and the Military Command.
3. Recommendations for military awards shall be submitted through the military chain of command and reviewed by a designated military awards committee before final approval by the Sovereign and their advisors.

1. The Sovereign of Iris may confer civilian awards upon outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to society, the arts, sciences, humanitarian efforts, or other fields that benefit the realm and its inhabitants.
2. Civilian awards shall encompass honors such as the Order of Distinction, Civic Achievement Medal, and Excellence in Public Service Award, with nomination and selection procedures overseen by a civilian awards council appointed by the Sovereign.
3. Nominations for civilian awards can be submitted by government officials, non-governmental organizations, or members of the public for consideration by the Sovereign, in consultation with the civilian awards council.

1. The Sovereign, in collaboration with their advisors and the First Councilor, reserves the authority to establish and confer prestigious honors to individuals who have excelled in their respective endeavors, brought honor to the realm, or significantly impacted the betterment of Iris society.
2. Prestigious honors may include titles like the Grand Cross of Iris, Order of Excellence, and Ambassador of Peace, with recipients selected based on recommendations from a prestigious honors committee appointed by the Sovereign.
3. The process for nominating and awarding prestigious honors shall ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to the criteria set forth by the Sovereign and approved by the First Councilor.
