Royal Warrant: The Royal Operations Act
By the grace of His Royal Highness, the Sovereign Monarch of the Kingdom of Iris, and under the advisement and consent of the Executive Council, the following Royal Warrant, known as The Royal Operations Act, is hereby enacted to establish and define key positions within the Royal Administration and Local Governance of the Kingdom. This act delineates the responsibilities and authorities of several crucial roles that are integral to the smooth functioning and governance of the Kingdom.
Article I: Establishment of Positions
The following positions are established under this Royal Warrant to aid in the governance and operation of the Kingdom of Iris:
1. Lord Treasurer
- The Lord Treasurer shall serve as the Head of the Sovereign’s National Bank and shall be primarily responsible for overseeing the financial assets and monetary policies of the Kingdom.
- The Lord Treasurer shall work closely with the Sovereign, the First Councilor, and other relevant governmental bodies to ensure financial stability and the effective implementation of monetary policy.
2. Royal Family Legal Counselor
- The Royal Family Legal Counselor is appointed to manage all legal affairs concerning the Royal Family.
- Responsibilities include advising the Royal Family on all legal matters, representing the Royal Family in court, and providing other necessary legal services to uphold the integrity and rights of the Royal Household.
3. Private Secretary
- The Private Secretary shall act as the Chief of Staff for the Sovereign or any actively working Royal within the region.
- This role encompasses managing announcements, appointments, and handling daily administrative duties to facilitate the efficient execution of Royal duties.
4. Lord Mayors
- Lord Mayors are appointed in each of the three key cities within the Kingdom: Palm Springs, Cosgrove Mountains, and Chesapeake Bay.
- Each Lord Mayor is the Sovereign’s representative in their respective city and is charged with overseeing local government policy and administration.
- Lord Mayors are responsible for ensuring that local governance aligns with the broader objectives of the Kingdom and for promoting the welfare and development of their communities.
Article II: Appointment and Tenure
1. All appointees to the positions stated in Article I shall be nominated by the Sovereign and confirmed by the Executive Council.
2. The tenure of these appointments shall be at the pleasure of the Sovereign, with periodic reviews conducted to ensure efficacy and adherence to their duties.
Article III: Duties and Responsibilities
1. Each appointed official is expected to perform their duties with the utmost integrity, loyalty, and efficiency.
2. Regular reports shall be submitted to the Sovereign and the Executive Council to ensure transparency and accountability in all actions taken within the scope of their appointed roles.
Article IV: Amendment and Modification
1. This Warrant may be amended or modified by a subsequent Royal Warrant issued by the Sovereign, as the need arises and as circumstances within the Kingdom evolve.
