TO BE ENACTED by the Sovereign’s official signature, advice and consent of the Executive Council, The House of Nobles, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Article I || Titles
1.00 || This Act may be cited and referred to in short as the Palm Springs City Charter.

2.00 || There shall be a charter created to let the rule of law and procedure happen in the Palm Spring administrative area that all citizens, residents, and government folk all should follow at all times in Palm Spring.
2.01 || There shall be a Lord Mayor to oversee, administrate, and run Palm Springs administrative area with a Vice-Lord Mayor if need be, they choose so, in their term.
2.02 || There shall be a City Council of Councillors to help run, administrate, and legislate processes for the functioning of Palm Springs for the obligation, security, and functional running of society for citizens and residents.
2.03 || The City Councillors shall have powers, functions, and authority to legislate and create laws in the Palm Springs administrative area of Palm Springs.
2.04 || The City Councillors shall also hold cabinet positions, maskings, and portfolios in the Palm Springs administrative area where they can enact policy for the goodwill functioning of Palm Springs, services, and businesses for the citizens and residents of the city.
2.05 || The City Councillors shall be allowed to appoint deputies if need be to help implement policies, changes, and services to Palm Springs if need be each term.
Article III || Elections and Standing
3.00 || There shall be elections every 75 days to elect a Lord Mayor and City Councilors.
3.01 || Candidates for Lord Mayor can state their standing in an allocated standing thread where they shall state their intentions and affiliations with any party in Iris thereafter.
3.02 || Candidates for City Councillor seats can stand all at the same time and state their intention in another standing thread specifically only for City Councillor seats.
3.03 || Standing shall stay open for 5 days until votes start.
3.04 || Votes shall open and begin after the standing period closes and the voting period shall last for 2 days.
3.05 || The Lord Mayor shall be elected when a simple majority of votes favor a certain candidate and that candidate shall become Lord Mayor. If there is a tie, a runoff voting period shall last for 1 day and if no one is chosen yet, the Sovereign will have the final say on who to choose to be Lord Mayor for Palm Springs.
3.06 || Candidates for City Councillor positions shall be allocated positions by whichever gets the highest votes the highest position and each other candidate which gets the next lowest votes get allocated each other City Councillor seat thereafter. If there are any ties for seats, the Sovereign shall choose the person to get that seat.
Article IV || Schedule
4.00 ||This act is a standard act that will need the passage of both House of Parliament along with the Sovereign's Consent.
