Proclamation of Pride Month
In recognition of the invaluable contributions and enduring spirit of the LGBTQ+ community, I, King James I, do hereby issue this proclamation to officially recognize and celebrate Pride Month in the regions of Iris and Salem.
Whereas, the regions of Iris and Salem are committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, equality, and respect for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity;
Whereas, Pride Month is an important time to celebrate the diversity and achievements of the LGBTQ+ community, while also acknowledging the ongoing struggle for equality and justice;
Whereas, it is our collective duty to create environments where everyone feels equal, invited, and safe to be their authentic selves;
Therefore, let it be known:
Official Recognition: The month of June shall be officially recognized as Pride Month in the regions of Iris and Salem.
