As stated in my plans, I am opening this Constitutional Convention. Seeing how James had unchecked power over the whole region, it was about time we rewritten the constitution. Not forgetting how the current system has proven to be not as practical, it was time. As such, me and Her Royal Highness, the Princess-Regent, had the following ideas for what should be done.
These are somethings we hope to include. I would like to hear everyone's opinions and also your ideas on what could be changed about our constitution.
- Separate the Executive Government from Legislative. This was a system which was creative but impractical. Separating would be better, essentially giving the First Councillor the power to appoint his own government rather than electing the whole government.
- Join the House of Nobles and Executive Council together to create a unicarmel parliament.This would mean the parliament will have only one house with 3 nobles and 4-5 elected representatives. This would ensure a parliament which would atleast have some continuing activity.
