My dearest citizens of Iris,
Our region is in a very unique era in this second session of government. This past week, our region passed the historic acts of the budget and the Civil Rights Act of 2023. We are currently negotiating how our defense and military will be at Wagoner Hall as we speak. Tonight I wanted to share with you why Iris is like it is. Upon taking office as Head of State, I had quite of few choices and questions I had to address. The first is what would my official title be as Head of State. Well I chose the title of Mr. President because I am more than just a monarch. I am a leader, a mentor, a friend, and servant of our region for today and to build up a strong foundation for future leaders. My philosophy was to give the authority to the citizens, our council, and who make up the region of Iris. Some observe I may preside over our region like a King or Queen. Those ceremonial duties are to establish a proud heritage, a tradition of closing and opening governments, working to preserve our constitution, and to build a community we are all proud of. This past week I signed executive orders that will allow for nations to create families or groups who believe a similar concept. A way to create history and a proud heritage. I also signed an executive order that will create the national bank and stabilize our economy for this and the next administration as we move forward in this era. On the other fronts, I am working with many heads of government or state to discuss the opportunities for a Trident 5 alliance of some sort and continuing to build upon a possibility of a military. But what I want you to know is we are not the status quo. This region is working hard each day to improve our community together. We will continue to push forward as we are working with our friends from Avaldonia for our Christmas trivia challenge and an international football league in the spring. We are going through some inspirational change with a new World Assembly Delegate taking the helm, pushing our RP to become competitive, and being the best leader I can be! Our work this term will be memorable and I intend to start finding and training future Presidents so that one day they can step up and say this is an honor and a privilege to serve in the place we all call home.
