Title: Public Disclosure Act
Preamble:
In recognition of the principles of transparency, accountability, and integrity in public service, we, the Royal Authority of the Region of Iris, hereby decree the enactment of the Public Disclosure Act. This act is established to ensure that all citizens entrusted with public office within our region fulfill their duties with the utmost honesty, loyalty, and dedication to the welfare of our community.
Article I: Disclosure Requirements
All citizens who hold a public office within the Region of Iris are required to disclose any additional offices or positions they hold outside the region, irrespective of their nature or jurisdiction.
Military or intelligence operations classified as ongoing and deemed critical to national security are exempt from disclosure. However, individuals holding such positions must declare their affiliation with the respective military branch or intelligence agency.
Article II: Transparency and Accountability
Disclosure of external offices or positions shall be made in writing to the relevant authorities within thirty (30) days of assuming public office or acquiring an additional position.
Failure to comply with the disclosure requirements outlined in this act may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to suspension, termination, or legal consequences, as determined by the competent authorities.
Article III: Safeguarding National Security
While transparency is paramount, the protection of sensitive military or intelligence operations vital to national security remains a priority.
Disclosure of military affiliation shall include the name of the military branch or agency without divulging classified information related to ongoing operations.
Article IV: Implementation and Enforcement
The relevant governmental bodies and agencies are responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the provisions outlined in this act.
Adequate measures shall be taken to ensure compliance with the disclosure requirements and to address any violations promptly and impartially
